Is "Standard" mode the one that's factory-calibrated? Why does sRGB mode or HDR mode automatically enable the sharpening feature (which looks terrible).
Out of the box, the monitor's default settings are confusing.
Other minor reasons contributing to the poor experience: The temperature difference is glaringly obvious when you're looking at a site like this one (LTT forums main page) because there are a lot of white and light grey spanning across the screen. Even the bottom left has some slight uniformity issue. Specifically, the top right is slightly green, bottom middle is slightly magenta, and the bottom right is yellow. The right half of the screen warmer than the left.
